This is definitely another one of my favorite paranormal series. I was glad to see Ethan and Merit reunited but god, I wish they could stay that way for a bit longer! It’s always a back and forward with these two and sometimes I want to shake them till they knock it off. I still can’t help myself but they are an unlikely pair, I guess that I share my views with Merit on that one. But at the same time they fit somehow and I definitely like it best when they work together. Both of them are great characters and I loved their interactions and reading about them overcoming their trials together. It felt like they finally reached that point of trust that they need for a solid relationship.I was also glad to see that Mallory came around as well – she seems to be getting back to her old ways which I loved. I adored the banter between her and catcher and hope that, too, will be back in time. They certainly made a great couple and the old Mallory was a great best friend. The mystery parts, like always, intrigued me. The writing is action filled and so far, I read every book of this series in one sitting. And I was SO happy to see Cadogan house choose its own way and be true to themselves instead of bowing their heads to those great jerks. But even with Cadogan’s favorably actions towards the GP, I doubt that it will be the last we heard of it. I can’t wait for the next book!
