Metamorphosis (Book Boyfriend Series) (Volume 1)

Metamorphosis (Book Boyfriend Series) (Volume 1) - Erin Noelle I went into this book blindly, the cover and title were enough to draw me in and thus I hadn't bothered to even read the blurb.Color me surprised when I found the concept of this book to be book boyfriends - it was instant love! There were so many book references that they kept me n a constant state of grinning. I thoroughly enjoyed Scarlett and Evie finding there weekly book boyfriend in real life. Both were really likeable charactes and even though I usually don't like the timid, shy girls in a book, I loved Scarlett. I was really happy though when Scarlett finally overcame her sheltered past and came out of her shell. And what would this book be without some boys? Let's see,f irst there's Ash. He adamantly tried to worm his way into my heart but I wouldn't let him. Sorry pretty boys, but your pretty words and good looks didn't work on me as well as they did on Scarlett. Then there's Dylan, he too, wasn't for me. Too nice, too sweet, too boy-ish. He was just right for Scarlett to dip her toes in the water so to say, even if she was sometimes more tan frustrated with him. I can't say though that I was sad to see him go.But then there he was, the rock god aka Mason. Now he was totally my thing. Sexy, honest and open with a bad boy image but a very sweet attitude towards Scarlett. He definitely was my number one. There's one thing though that I had a little trouble with: the events towards the end because everything felt a little hurried and then too easy. I would've wished for these events to be drawn out a bit longer and maybe not making it so easy on Scarlett. But overall a fantastic book that I couldn't help but love. I can't wait to read the next installment!
