Ten Tiny Breaths

Ten Tiny Breaths - K.A. Tucker Not bad but utterly predictable and that takes the joy out of most books for me. While the prolgue caught my attention, the rest of the book sadly couldn't keep the pace. Knowing the blurb and then Trent's introduction, there was no question as to who he was. And knowing that tidbit, the book got boring fast.Kacey has a traumatic past but so does Livie with the exception that it didn't turn Livie in a raging bitch. Traumatic events or not, I guess I just don't deal well with major bitches. That's not to say that Kacey didn't have her moments because she did, she even has a funny side if she feels like sharing it.Livie is awesome, I liked her alot just like Storm and Mia. I've got mixed feeling about Trent, at some point I probably even would've called him a bit fanatical. The scenes between him and Kacey felt overdone to me with the instant attraction and her being able to let him touch her hands, there's no logic behind that one. What makes Trent so special that he can touch her but she still flinches with Storm whom she already knows better? Just just made no sense to me.Honestly, I don't know what else to tell you. It simply wasn't a book for me. It happens, time to move on ;).
