DNF: page 50Someone please tell me that this is a belated april fools joke or that somehow I accidently bought a copy of a badly written fanfiction because this can't possibly be the 13th book of an series that I followed for around 10 years now.
Honestly, my disappointment knows no bounds right now. I wanna yell and scream but mostly I want to forget this book ever existed.
After the disaster that was Deadlocked, the 12th book in this series, my expectations weren't very high. Actually there isn't much I remember about Deadlocked besides the fact that I disliked it a lot.
But this? This one seriously surpasses by worst expectations in the worst way possible.
In all honesty, I'm only 50 pages in but the writing sets my teeth on edge and after learning who Sookie ended up with, I just want to burn this book.
Sorry, but it's true and I refuse to read even one more page, yuck.

Seriously, what the fuck? I don't get it and my brain is on an endless loop yelling "Why the fuck would you do this?!"
In all fairness I'll even refrain from a rating, stop ranting now and start looking for another book since I feel like someone ripped my heart out and squeezed it till the last drop of blood was gone.
